An unexpected plumbing adventure

Our room was spacious and clean, a delight after long days of exploring. The staff was eager to help, making us feel welcomed.

Our bliss was interrupted by a plumbing mishap. A plugged toilet and unwanted sewage in the shower made for an unpleasant morning experience.

Not for the faint of heart

Got a decent breakfast brought to my room, it was delicious, just what I needed after a long night. Also, the staff were friendly and accommodating, at least someone cares about their job here.

Not exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable considering the location.

fantastic access to parks and art venues for weekend walkers

I had a truly delightful time exploring nearby Silver Lake Park, which was just a short walk away, and the Rochester Art Center, where I enjoyed some stunning local art. during my stay, I was also impressed by the friendly and professional service at the front desk, as well as the efficient elevators that made moving around the hotel easy and fast.

Had a lovely stay with my family, especially enjoyed the cozy Double Room and the warm, inviting sauna. The indoor swimming pool was nice for the kids to splash around in after a day out. Just a heads up, parking was a bit tricky, so consider that when planning your visit! 😊

great location but average comfort

The subterranean walkway made my access to local spots seamless. I appreciated the variety of dining options available, catering to different budgets.

Nice location but needs improvements

We stayed one night and the location was super convenient for our appointments. The staff was friendly. The small restaurant had a limited menu, but the service was solid. However, the room was a bit too clinical and the sheets could've used a wash, which soured the experience a bit.

I enjoyed my stay. The access to the Mayo facilities via the underground tunnel is fantastic. My room was cozy and had a nice historic charm. Covered parking was a plus. Overall, it's convenient for patients.

The room was cozy with air conditioning, a desk, and a nice bathroom with a shower. There’s also a refrigerator and microwave for convenience. Loved the fitness center and indoor swimming pool for relaxation. The location was super convenient, connected via the subway to the Mayo Clinic. Plus, having a Starbucks in the lobby was a treat!

after a previous stay at a different rochester hotel, i was pleasantly surprised by the kahler grand. the room was cozy and mayos facilities were so easily accessible, with the subway hallway a real lifesaver. plus, covered parking was a nice plus, especially given the downtown location.

the shower pressure was terrible

Location is a big win here, right near the Mayo facilities! I loved having easy access to various eateries through the subway tunnel. My room was decent, but the lobby had a charming historic vibe.

Felt so relaxed, no complaints whatsoever.
